Hey guys! Wow, it's been a while since I've updated this. Well, to be fair to myself there hasn't really been much news...
Scooter will be headlining Clubland 4 at a few cities around the UK in October. Am I surprised? Not really.
The UK certainly love Scooter and it seems as though Scooter love them back considering they are always going there.
Unfortunately they don't come to Australia.

Also, I have deleted every member who has joined my website in the past. As I have had such a sudden surge of people joining the site and it is difficult to tell which are real and which is spam. So here's what is going to happen. If you want to join my site, you can join but I now have it set on manual accept. So you will only be a member once I accept you. And for me to accept you, you MUST write something about yourself and how you came to like Scooter. I don't care how short it is. I'm only doing this to separate the spam from real people. You will NOT be accepted if you don't follow what I've asked.
Thank you.

Hey guys! Just letting you all know that I'll be deleting this site soon.
LOL JK!

Haha, just a bit of fun.
So I've just finished watching Scooter's "Live In Hamburg" DVD and in short, I thought it was awesome. Easily their best DVD to date.
The intro with the fireworks and the general atmosphere seemed like it would have felt amazing to be there. So shattered I couldn't have been there with the other posse to see it!
My favourite tracks that were performed were: J'adore Hardcore, Posse (I Need You On The Floor), Second Skin, One (Always Hardcore), How Much Is The Fish? and the last track with the combination of Endless Summer, Hyper Hyper and Move Your Ass! All of those tracks had so much energy and passion in them. The light shows were fantastic too. There were a couple of tracks I didn't find as energetic and a bit dull on the lights and they were: Nessaja, Bit A Bad Boy and Jump That Rock. But all in all, a great DVD and it was a hell of a lot better than their recorded 2008 show in Berlin. *shudders*

So if any of you guys have seen the DVD let me know what YOU thought of it in the guest book!

Jay.

Thank you to everyone for helping hit the 20,000 hits mark on my website! HELL YEAH!

10/5/2010

Hey guys!
Scooter performed at the IIHF World Cup a few days ago. Unfortunately the show was not televised (god knows why) so there are no HQ videos of it as far as I know.
Here are links to the two best home made videos I've seen of the performance!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUqgLvrWu_k

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBq08TtSeY8

In my opinion, the performance didn't even seem that great. But maybe that's just me comparing it to what I've seen of "Live In Hamburg" so far on YouTube. It looks fucking amazing! I should receive my copy in the mail very soon, so be rest assured I will give you all an overall review of what I think of it! Keep your eyes open!

Jay.

6/5/2010

Hey posse! Just a quick update to let everyone know that May has gone on a bit of a vacation.
She doesn't know exactly when she'll be back yet, but when I know, you'll know. I hope she has a great time!
So, I shall do my best to keep the site up and running on my own, if some updates are a little slow, don't worry, I'll get around to them as soon as I can.

Jay.

5/5/2010

Sorry the site hasn't been updated in a while guys! There's been nothing to report lately so that's why.
Although "Live In Hamburg" gets released on it's various formats in just a few days so you can look forward to that!
Expect a review on it from May and myself after we watch/listen to it.

One more thing. I have been looking for a particular performance by Scooter for a while now and finally found it yesterday!
It was and still remains my favourite live performance from them yet. H.P is so full of energy and really seems to get into the atmosphere.
Tell me your opinions! May, you too!

Jay.

Evidently, the missing tracks from the audio CD are present in the digital download of the album. And yet more means for people upset about the absent tracks from the concert to acquire them from some other medium.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Listened to all of the samples, and I have to say, without hesitation, that this sounds absolutely incredible! I'm completely surprised by how much more better sounding this is to EAA, which, while good to a certain degree, now comes across as subpar in comparison. The new additions in Posse, the delicious autotune effect in TSAMH and One, and the new HMITF has made me fall in love with this album already. Everything just sounds so stupendously wonderful that I want my copy now. Really, really chuffed with this. I've now forgotten about the whole WTB thing. The awesomeness of this album easily compensates for that casualty.

Edit: The samples from djshop.de have been removed. 30 second samples are now up and running on amazon.de - http://www.amazon.de/Scooter-Live-In-Hamburg/dp/B003ITY1PK/ref=mb_oe_o

22/4/2010

Amazon.de has now published the CD tracklist to the forthcoming album 'Live In Hamburg', and they are as follows;

1. Intro / J´adore Hardcore
2. Posse (I Need You On The Floor)
3. The Sound Above My Hair
4. Stuck On Replay
5. Jumping All Over The World
6. The Question Is What Is The Question?
7. Second Skin
8. Weekend!
9. Bit A Bad Boy
10. One (Always Hardcore)
11. Ti Sento
12. Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)
13. Nessaja
14. How Much Is The Fish?
15. Maria (I Like It Loud)
16. Endless Summer / Hyper Hyper / Move Your Ass!

Expectantly, the band has removed some of the tracks from the concert to enable them to release the title on one audio CD. The tracks Clic Clac/Scarborough Reloaded, Fire and Fuck the Millennium/Call Me Manana have been omitted from this edition of the product. The DVD and Blu-ray formats will, as already announced, contain all of these pieces anyway. Purchasers of the DVD or Blu-ray can therefore convert the tracks as they wish and insert the missing ones manually. There's no reason why anyone should be disappointed with this news.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was my intention to pre-order this edition of 'Live In Hamburg' instead of the DVD or Blu-Ray versions, and I'm still adamant that this is the right choice for me. The tracks that have been omitted weren't vital to the integrity of the CD version anyway, so my mind has remained unchanged with this latest bit of information. I'm sure buyers of the two other editions will end up uploading the videos to Youtube or something shortly after they've received it. The missing tracks on this CD can therefore easily be acquired via Youtube and quickly converted into an MP3 file for use. Additionally, the concert footage will go along with it nicely, and I'll be able to sit back and enjoy from there. That's my plan!

May

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't know why they ever just release a double CD to cover the whole concert.
I'm not too fussed really but I'm sure some people are.

Jay.

16/4/2010

The tracklist for the forthcoming live album 'Live In Hamburg' has been posted in the Discography section on the official site.

1) Intro
2) J´adore Hardcore

4) The Sound Above My Hair
5) Stuck On Replay
6) Jumping All Over The World

17) Nessaja
18) How Much Is The Fish?
19) Maria (I Like It Loud)
20) Endless Summer / Move Your Ass! / Hyper Hyper

additional on Blu-ray: all videos!!!

It appears that every track has been inserted, excluding the much anticipated new version of Where The Beats-- which could not be included due to copyright restrictions. While this news is saddening, it is the first time Scooter have distributed a live album with most of the concert footage preserved. However, it maybe that only the Blu-ray edition will contain the Hamburg concert in its entirety (excluding Where The Beats...). Although this could be subject to change, which we'll know when it's further clarified. The missing tracks schedule to be missing on the CD and DVD have not been announced yet, but we will be sure to update the site once this information becomes available; if there are any. It appears that the Blu-ray will also contain all the videos from Scooter so far!

----------------------------------------------

A somewhat disappointing bit of news that the gorgeous sounding Where The Beats... performed at their concerts has been erased from the tracklist. I was really looking forward to listening to this track in high quality, as the new chorus really managed to touch me. More so than the current one which to me sounds too protracted and tedious. Regardless, it's fantastic to see that practically the entire gig in Hamburg will be commercially available on at least one format, not to mention in beautifully displayed HD. Again this could be subject to change, as we are unaware yet if all formats in fact contain all the listed tracks. This should be a worthy item of purchase. Don't forget to pre-order it on at least one format! It is looking likely that this is the tracklist for all of them. Very good news.

May x

---------------------------------------------

I agree with May that the absence of "Where The Beats..." is indeed a disappointment. I am sure that the CD and DVD are the exact same in terms of the track list but that the Blu-ray will include all of Scooter's music videos from "Hyper Hyper" to "Stuck On Replay". You might find that Scooter might upload the HD version of "Where The Beats..." that would have been on the DVD onto YouTube. I'm not sure what the rules of copyright material are on there as they aren't exactly selling it. U2 may have banned them from broadcasting the track in every way possible. So as usual - time will tell.

Jay.

Hey posse!

I would like to add a quick update about my friend May who is now my co-moderator of Scooter In Australia. We will both be updating this site from now on as sometimes I find it a bit hard to keep it up to date all on my own. I am confident that May will do a great job and it would be great to see some feedback from fans in the guest book section! SO GET ON IT RIGHT NOW!

Also here is the cover for Scooter's "Live In Hamburg" CD. The DVD and Blu-Ray are the same but obviously in different sizes. The discography will be updated as soon as we know the track list!

Over and out.
Updated by Jay.

6/4/2010

Greetings everyone!

I've just recently been appointed co-moderator of Scooterinaustralia.com, and I thought it best that I quickly introduce myself and inform you a little bit about my responsibilities.

I will be diligently working alongside Jay to ensure this site is updated with the most recent bit of information regarding Scooter. Both the sites owner and me will work collaboratively to further enhance the time in which it takes to post news on this site by keeping a close lookout for any information that is important to the band. We will, like other fan sites, be more efficient in publishing this news than the official page itself. This is reason enough for the Australian posse to entrust and rely on us for everything Scooter.

How did I come become a fan? My passion for Scooter began to blossom almost eight years ago with the release of the widely acclaimed 'Ramp: The Logical Song'. This track propelled me into a frenzy of research about a band that I originally misunderstood to be just one person, and quickly became a journey of absolute astonishment to of stumbled upon a group of such unrivaled talent. 'Push The Beat For This Jam' [The singles 94-02] or [The Second Chapter] as it was known outside of the UK (yes, I'm from the United Kingdom), became my first album of many. With the release of 'The Stadium Techno Experience' a year later, I knew Scooter were about to become a big part of my life. My favourite single resides in the Third Chaper, and goes by the name of 'The Night'.

If you'd like to know more about me then please head over to the official Scooter forum, and look out for the username 'May's-Expedition'. I'd be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

May x

31/3/2010

YO! Turns out that there will be a DVD of Scooter's performance at their Hamburg show! So yeah, you were wrong Dom haha. Totally should have made that bet with you and made myself an extra $10.

Anyway, on the 7th of May Scooter will release a Live CD, a live DVD and a live Blu-Ray DVD of their show in Hamburg. These are already available for pre-ordering on the German Amazon so go ahead and order yours here.

CD Box set:  http://www.amazon.de/Live-Hamburg-2010-S…69971488&sr=1-1
DVD:  http://www.amazon.de/Scooter-Live-Hambur…69973010&sr=8-8
Blu-Ray:  http://www.amazon.de/Scooter-Live-Hambur…69971711&sr=8-2

As they are all in German at the moment and have only just been put up there are no details as to what tracks or special features any of them will contain so we have to wait for that to be updated. Watch out for that on here.

Also Scooter have revealed some interesting things in an interview done by some of the Russian posse. Check that out below courtesy of Scar and the Russian Scooter Posse!

RSP: (Russian Scooter Posse): Hi, H.P., Rick and Michael! Nice to meet you!
Rick:
Hello!
H.P & Michael: Hi!

RSP: Happy birthday, H.P.! Here's a gift for you from Russian Posse!
H.P:
Hey, my birthday is over, ha-ha-ha!

RSP: Better late than never, you know!
(We're giving a handmade doll dressed in a sweater with a word 'Scooter' on it)
H.P: Is this Jay?
(Everybody's laughing)

H.P: Really looks like Jay.

RSP: Yeah, yeah, but you can call her Maria.
Michael:
Where's her pussy?
(Everybody's laughing again)

H.P: Michael, you pervert!
(Laughing, laughing, laughing)

RSP: OK, guys, our first question. We heard that you've recorded the whole concert in Hamburg! Is that true?
Michael:
(laughing): I knew, that your first question will be about the DVD!
Rick: Yeah, we just started working on the sound mixing for this record and also on the video editing and I think it's going to be released in Germany…
H.P: In May!

RSP: And what about Blu-Ray version? Will it be released this time?
Rick:
Well, I think this time it's going to be on a BluRay too.

RSP: Our next question is about your next album. Will it be in a Jumpstyle, Hardstyle, or we can expect something new?
H.P:
Oh, we still don't know yet. We're going to start to work on a new material… m-m-m-m… I think next month..

RSP: Many people want Scooter to do more old school Hardcore and Rave stuff like Hyper Hyper, Move Your Ass. Can you see yourself as a real Hardcore producers in the future? Maybe something like Crank it Up? Something more underground?
H.P:
We like the hard stuff and we like Trance tunes. So it depends on ideas. Which ideas you have and how you feel. Our last albums was really harder than before. I'm sure we'll do this stuff again in a way, but maybe we'll try it in another style.

RSP: We heard many suggestions from the ravers who want you to re-release some of your old stuff like …And The Beat Goes On! but in new version.
H.P:
OK…
Rick: We sometimes do it live…
H.P: Yeah, live, we have some special versions.
Rick: I think it will make no sense to re-release them like BBE or Three Drivers doing it with their tracks almost every year.
H.P: But we could do something like a bonus remix album. That would be an idea. Yes, yes, maybe we'll do this.

RSP: Ratty's Sunrise (Here I Am) is still rather popular tune at Hard Dance events. Would you like to release something new under the Ratty alias?
Rick:
Really? Do they still listen to Sunrise? I'm really glad then. Yes, we will try to please you with new Ratty stuff.

RSP: OK, thank you very much for the chat! It was very nice to meet you here, in Moscow!
H.P:
Thank you and see you at the concert!
Rick & Michael: Bye-bye!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well there we have that. So it seems Scooter will be working on some new material next month. They like to move on quickly don't they? Haha.
I personally don't think we will hear any new material for a while. I think it will be August before we hear anything new and early 2011 before we have another album.
Maybe it'll be longer and they'll release a double CD? Haha, that's just me being overly hopeful!
And as for more releases under the Ratty alias? I don't think this will happen. It was a project back then to release music under a different kind of genre without people knowing it was Scooter behind it. Now people know it was them and it will not work in the same way again. So no "expecting more from Ratty". Excuse my clever pun.

Over and out.

17/3/2010

Hey hey posse. It is apparent that there will be a live DVD released from Scooter's performance in Hamburg on their "Under The Radar Over The Top" tour. Some people are questioning this but I have been told that there were cameras everywhere at the show and that there were many camera men seen.

This video is also credible evidence to the release of a DVD - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdNVB6iU2V4

The track list of the show was as follows. So expect these to be on the DVD and maybe some behind the scenes footage!

Intro (Halloween movie + Stealth)
- J'adore Hardcore
- Posse (version 2010)
- The Sound Above My Hair
- Jumping All Over The World
- The Question Is What Is The Question?
- Where The Beats (different chorus)
- Bit A Bad Boy (different chorus)
- Second Skin
- Fuck The Millenium / Call Me Manana
- Clic Clac / Scarborough Reloaded
- Weekend
- Fire
- Stuck On Replay
- Jump That Rock (Whatever You Want)
- Ti Sento

- Maria (I Like It Loud)
- Endless Summer (2010) / Hyper Hyper (Special Version) / Move Your Ass (2010)

14/3/2010

About time I'm able to write some news on here that I'm actually excited about! A couple of days ago Scooter kicked off their "Under The Radar Over The Top" tour in Hamburg. During the show they played a revamped version of "Where The Beats". Now don't quote me on this but usually if Scooter change one of their songs there is a chance that it might be released as a single! If this is the case it will be the 5th single release from UTROTT. Let's just wait and see what happens shall we?

For now here is a video taken at the concert. A short snippet of the new version!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjlQ5ArwY7E&feature=related

28/2/2010

Holy mother of god. This is the first update on my site this year! I guess I owe you guys an apology. I have been a little slack.
Anyway, I'm back now! But even so, not a whole heap has happened. But here's the latest...

Scooter's new single "Stuck On Replay" will be released on the 12th of March. The song has been chosen as the anthem for this years IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation) World Championship which is to be held in Germany in May. Also Scooter's track "Ti Sento" will be the official goal celebration song and "Metropolis" will be the song to open the championship.

The video to "Stuck On Replay" can be seen right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlpNp2HBNUE

And the samples for the tracks on the single release can be heard here: http://www.jpc.de/jpcng/home/musicload/-/task/detail/art/Scooter-Stuck-On-Replay/id/6939419_2

The cover for the new single is displayed above and I've updated the discography section with the track list and cover art also!

Now, what do I think of "Stuck On Replay"? To be completely honest I don't like it very much. I never liked the track in the first place on UTROTT and usually skipped it. Scooter have revamped it up a tiny bit for a single release but not enough to make it any better in my opinion. To my surprise the single looks to be doing better than I expected in the charts already before it's release. But let's wait and see what happens when it's actually available shall we?
